How Nurses Respond to Covid 19 Pandemic

Coronavirus is taking a severe toll on doctors and nurses who risk their lives when treating infected patients. More than the fear of infection, they are growing weary of the continuous influx of patients getting infected from the disease.

Such nurses draw blood, take samples, provide oxygen, and dedicate themselves to the needs of their patients. Once the patient is in intensive care, it is the nurses who do the ordinary and the admirable to help the patient survive or suffer from a little more comfort. Moving in and out of detrimental-pressure rooms, putting on protective gear and taking it off again, nurses take care of patients who are seriously ill and even dying. Nurses devote the most of their time to support the doctors even if they are exposed to imminent danger and infection to the lethal disease.

Healthcare workers are the undervalued protagonists of this disaster. While they are usually the level headed in the setting, they are now feeling the extreme pressure of their tiring circumstance.

Here we take a more in-depth look through some of the courageous men and women who are on the forefront lines facing this epidemic.
