University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center (UERMMC) – College of Nursing
Founded in 1956, the university is one of the two extension campuses of the University of the East. UERMMMC is a non-stock, non-profit foundation and a memorial to President Ramon Magsaysay since 1957. UERM has PAASCU accredited program of level II. The College of Nursing BSN Program has been granted Level III by PAASCU.
The center has four academic units, the College of Medicine, Nursing, Physical Therapy and Graduate Program, in the order they were founded – each of which has carved a great name for itself in the Philippines educational landscape.
College of Nursing
The College is included in the list of 20 top performing Nursing schools released by the Commission on Higher Education covering a 5-year period. For the five year covered in the ranking, the CHED listed the UERM College of Nursing with a the rating of 93.08% passing percentage.
The UE Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center College of Nursing is one of the leading Higher Education Institutions in the country today. Its tradition of excellence has been acknowledged by its peers having been granted the Level III accreditation for its nursing program. The College of Nursing is one of the few nursing schools in the country with the highest accreditation status conferred by the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU).

The Degree Programs
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
The 4-year BSN curriculum is a competency-based, community-oriented program designed to prepare graduates to practice nursing in the Philippines and in other states with reciprocity status. While in the program, students are given the opportunity to expand their learning experiences through the in-campus training hospital and select communities where experiential learning and facilitated on-site and hands-on practice takes place. Through the mentorship of the faculty who are leaders in their field of expertise combined with a learning environment that cultivates advancements in research, UERM has produced quality nurse practitioners who are now leaders in their practice setting and are scholars in their chosen field.
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
Teaching, research and community service are the main thrusts of the graduate program in nursing. It aims to develop professionals with advance knowledge and skills in their selected area of concentration to prepare them for clinical practice, teaching, research and management.
The program is designed for nurses with rich clinical experience and with strong research orientation. It is composed of 12 units core courses, 12 units major courses and 6 units of cognates which are designed to advance the knowledge and skills of a professional nurse in the selected area of concentration. The completion of a graduate thesis after a successful comprehensive exam is required for graduation to the graduate degree in Nursing.
