Meet Nursingcrib’s Newest Authors

On behalf of the whole Nursingcrib community, we would like to formally welcome four (4) of the newest authors for our site nursingcrib.com. They are Trisha, Jessica, Katie and Rita. All four of them will be a big part of our site’s upcoming learning network next week. Read their respective bios to know more about them.

TrishaCoady Meet Nursingcribs Newest AuthorsTRISHA COADY RN BSN MN

Trisha is the founder of the Nurses Network and has acted as clinical advisor to many technology and publishing firms. With a clinical background in CCU, Dependency, Pediatrics, Neonatal Level III and Flight nursing, she has authored hundreds of hours of clinically relevant e-learning courseware. She has been published and presented numerous times on a healthcare specific e-learning model.

JessicaEllis Meet Nursingcribs Newest AuthorsJESSICA ELLIS RN BSN

With experience in multiple specialties such as ER, ICU, CVICU, PACU, NICU, and case management, Jessica has also been a key contributor for several of the world’s leading healthcare publishers. She has spent time in Shanghai, China designing and teaching Nursing and American culture to nursing students as part of a transition program. Jessica has been or is currently certified in CPR, BLS Instructor, PHTLS, ACLS, TNCC, CFRN, NRP, PALS, and CPS.

KatieMorales Meet Nursingcribs Newest AuthorsKATIE MORALES RN BN MNEd

While the past 25 years of her career have focused on acute care nursing and legal nurse consulting, she has served as a nursing instructor and item writer for the NCLEX exam. A recent MN graduate in Nursing Education, Katie is also certified in adult medical and surgical nursing by the ANCC. She is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society and formed the Georgia Legal Nurse Consultant Society.

RitaWick Meet Nursingcribs Newest AuthorsRITA WICK RN BSN MNEd

Experience includes medical-surgical and critical care nursing and roles such as clinical development specialist, and simulations coordinator. Rita is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the International Honor Society of Nursing; NNSDO, INACSL, Horizons at AACN. She is currently pursuing a MN in Nursing Education. Rita has also served as adjunct faculty for the Associate’s Degree in Nursing and has been a contributor for a wide array of policy and procedure books.
