As a Student Nurse, part of our community service is to disseminate health care information. Our main objective is to help people prevent diseases and encourage them to live a healthy lifestyle. One way of promoting healthcare is by giving lectures and free seminars regarding immunization schedules, breastfeeding benefits, and how diseases are being transmitted from one person to another. These are just some of the many information that we have to disseminate as part of the healthcare profession.

Another social responsibility of a Student Nurse is to help people understand that there are available institutions which are willing to help patients who need special care. The drug treatment centers are one of those special places which helps people recover from drug addiction. The home for the aged is known to cater for geriatrics patients. The Bahay ampunan provides shelter for those homeless kids. These & more through the endless effort of those in the healthcare profession can truly save and preserve humanity.
